Wat houdt een test hart – en vaatziekten in?

Wat is het cardiovasculaire systeem?

Hoe weet ik of ik hartproblemen heb?
Afhankelijk van de mogelijke aandoeningen (vernauwde kransslagaderen of angina pectoris, hartaanval, hartfalen,…) zijn de symptomen anders. Het is een goed idee om via een preventieve test het risico op hart- en vaatziekten te laten onderzoeken. Wanneer je vermoedt dat er iets mis is, contacteer dan een arts of bel meteen 112.

De arts kan een inschatting maken van het risico op hart- en vaatziekten. Het risico wordt ingeschat in drie categorieën:

hoog risico op overlijden aan hart- en vaatziekten binnen 10 jaar.
zeer hoog risico op overlijden aan hart- en vaatziekten binnen 10 jaar.
De test is erg nuttig wanneer je wil inschatten hoe hoog je risico op hart- en vaatziekten is.
Voor wie is de test hart- en vaatziekten bedoeld?
Een bloedtest hart- en vaatziekten is nuttig voor iedereen die geïnteresseerd is in hun hart- en vaatconditie of milde symptomen vertoont. Als je weet dat je een verhoogd risico hebt, moet je verdere actie ondernemen. Heb je al ernstige klachten? Contacteer dan je huisarts of 112.
Verder is een test hart- en vaatziekten aangeraden voor mensen die roken, last hebben van een hoge bloeddruk, hoge cholesterol, diabetes, nierschade, reuma, veel stress, overgewicht of voor hen die weinig bewegen en ongezond eten en drinken.
Maar ook mannen boven de 40 jaar lopen een hoger risico op hart- en vaatziekten. Bij vrouwen verhoogt het risico boven de 50 jaar oud, net als vrouwen tussen 40 en 50 jaar die in de overgang zijn.
Mensen van Turkse, Afrikaanse (Sub-Sahara), Hindoestaanse, Aziatisch-Surinaamse of Caribische achtergrond hebben een verhoogde kans op hart- en vaatziekten.

The Henro board is made of white polypropylene. The board is oval with a raised edge on one side and a rounded edge on the other side. This makes scooping food easier. Includes 4 removable caps at the bottom that keep the board firmly in place. For a firm grip of the Henro-Board, press the supplied rubber caps into the holes at the bottom of the Henro-Board. Remove the rubber caps before washing the Henro-Bord in the dishwasher. These can come loose from the board during washing.
