The telescopic tube is fitted with an end plate at each end and is clamped between the ground and the ceiling surface. This height is maintained by means of a gas spring. A marking can be used to read whether the grab pole is safely adjusted. When the red edge becomes visible, the gas spring must be readjusted. Installing, moving and dismantling the grab pole is easy to do without the use of tools.
