Rollz Motion Rhythm - without wheelchair package
Rollz Motion Rhythm - without wheelchair package
The principle of a Parkinson's walker
A Parkinson's walker is designed as a mobility aid for people who have Parkinson's disease and also suffer from freezing. "Freezing" means that one comes to a standstill when walking or does not make good progress when starting off and eventually comes to a standstill. The Rollz Rhythm walker helps these people to walk in different ways. In some cases, the Rollz Rhythm can significantly improve the mobility of these patients. Of course, this is very personal and it may happen that this does not help everyone.
With the Rollz Rhythm you can also do the standard wheelchair package with which you can easily convert the walker into a wheelchair.
The anti-freeze system
This walker uses different signals to help you move forward. The signals are activated by a button at the top of the handle. Each signal is adjustable and can be switched on and off separately.
1. An auditory signal:
The rhythm can be the trigger for some patients to restart or continue walking.
2. A visual signal:
A green laser signal on the ground helps patients focus when leaving. When taking a bend, the angle of the laser changes to provide the same assistance in a short bend as on a straight stretch. This visual signal is (almost) invisible outside.
3. A kinesthetic signal:
The handles of the Rollz Rhythm have a vibration function that can be adjusted in frequency and numbers.
