Lofric Origo, disposable catheter with Nelaton tip, from POBE with PVP coating; for intermittent (self) catheterization.
The catheter is made of POBE (polyolefin based elastomer). The hydrophilic coating with PVP has already been applied to the catheter. This coating is activated with a water sachet, which contains sterile water with sodium chloride. The water sachet is integrated into the packaging, so you only need to squeeze the sachet to activate the catheter. The laterally placed catheter eyes in the Nelaton tip are rounded and smooth. The flexible insertion aid can be moved and ensures that the catheter does not have to be touched during insertion. The peel-open packaging is easy to open. You can hang the catheter on a smooth surface using the adhesive strip on the back of the packaging. The packaging can also be used as a disposable bag for the catheter. The catheter can be rolled up into a pocket size, making it easy to carry. The catheter does not contain PVC, phthalates or latex and is single use.
