Thanks to the integration with the IKONN accessibility system, people with visual impairments receive direct audio feedback while weighing. The scale can also calculate the volume of commonly used ingredients such as flour, rice, and olive oil.

Instructions

Turning on and using the scale:
Place the scale on a sturdy, flat surface. Gently press the Power/Tare button to turn it on. Wait until the display reads "0." Then place the item you want to weigh on the scale; the weight will appear immediately on the LCD screen.

Change measurement units:
While the scale is turned on, you can press the Measurement/Unit button to switch between units of measurement. The selected unit appears on the display. You can switch between:

• Gram
• Milliliters
• Pounds/ounces
• Fluid ounces (such as milk)

Using the tare function:
The tare function allows you to easily weigh multiple ingredients one after the other. For example, place a bowl on the scale, press the Power/Tare button to reset the weight to zero, and then add ingredients. This way, you weigh each new item separately without removing any previous contents.
