Slowly and carefully tilt your finger from left to right and gradually increase the pressure so that the fingernail is shortened. When your fingernail is no longer filed by the disc, move your finger to the next groove and repeat the process to shorten the nails further. Stop when you are satisfied with the nail length. A short time is enough to master Nailmaid. Avoid applying strong pressure on the finger and therefore on the grinding disc. This can lead to uncomfortable heating of your nails. Special shaping profile templates are included for longer nails. The templates fit into the two small holes on the contour plate. The finger should be held 90° to the profile template for best results. Start by placing the center of the nail in the center of the profile template and then filing evenly from right to left. We recommend that you only use the profile templates after you have gained sufficient experience with the Nailmaid.
